Hello world!

Hello world!

Welcome to Cookbook Stories! I am an avid home books with an extensive, yet pared down cookbook collection. For years, I would go to our local Library Book Sale and pick up boxes of cookbooks. I would look through them but almost never cook anything specific, so I began to shed some of those that were barely looked at. I still have at least 100 cookbooks, but who does not use the web for recipes these days?

As a home cook, I often read various recipes and merge what I like best from a few, using my judgment rather than one specific recipe. Other times, I follow recipes quite closely. I believe cooking is an art, and providing the best tasting food to my family is a goal I strive for. Every time I make something, I try and think about what I could have done better. I eat most foods and love to bake, so anything is game here.

Thanks for Reading and Happy Cooking!!
