Food and cuisine are the history of our lives.

Food is in our memories. Food has always been with us. I'll bet some of your earliest and fondest memories are family holiday food gatherings, or wondrous smells coming from Grandma’s kitchen.

Food is in our history. Food was important in our early education from learning about the Pilgrims having that big feast to understanding how the various American Plains Tribes used the buffalo so efficiently.

Food is in our emotions. In the ‘care package’ arriving at college or military post with the cookies baked by someone with love. Or with the young soldier on the other side of the world dreaming of his Mom’s BBQ sandwiches.

This site is dedicated to find the tools to capture these feelings, ideas, stories, and history. Maybe you’ll find a new cookbook with a recipe that will start a whole new family tradition. History really is right on the tip of your tongue.

This site features some great cookbooks from others, resources for creating and publishing your own cookbook, and some example stories relating to recipes from our own family.
